DJ Erge, also known as Ryan Santos, has been a force in the music industry for over a
few Decades Inspired by influential figures like Bad Boy Bill, Julian Jumpin Perez, his brother Jason Santos, and Tony
Cabrera, Erge developed his skills behind the turntables
from a young age. Starting with high school and private parties in 1992, Erge quickly
made a name for himself in the Phoenix AZ party scene, pioneering his unique sound of
Chicago-style "Chicago House" and "Hip House." Teaming up with other talented DJs
such as DJ Tranzo, Bener One,DJ Sink, and more, Erge successfully promoted events
and nightclubs across Phoenix AZ, performing at venues like the Fun House, Club
Alamo, and the 411 Club. After his time in Phoenix.
Erge returned to Chicago and seamlessly continued his success in the local scene.
From 1996 to 1997, he joined forces with Dark Enterprise, earning a residency at Club
Papilion every Sunday. In 1998, Erge embarked on a two-year collaboration with
Dynasty Entertainment, allowing him to showcase his talents at renowned Chicago
venues like Crobar Nightclub, Dragon Room, Funky Buddha Lounge, House of Blues,
Biology Bar, John Barleycorn, V-Live, Bamboo Room, Heat Nightclub and many more.
He also had the opportunity to perform at national venues
such as Club Asia, Eye Candy in Las Vegas and Hot Import Nights events. Throughout his career,
Erge has had the honor of working with esteemed DJs like DJ Qbert, Julian Jumpin
Perez, Bad Boy Bill, DJ Q, JayFunk, DJ Mark Lojo, DJ Flipside, and DJ D Double, to name just a few.
Erge had the privilege of opening for LA Riots and Oliver Twist, further
cementing his reputation as a skilled and sought-after DJ. With his extensive
experience, versatile style, and collaborations with industry heavyweights, DJ Erge
continues to captivate audiences and move crowds with his electrifying performances.
